Business transition expert Eric Gall, Edison Avenue, speaks to FANN members Dec. 9, 2016

Eric Gall, Managing Partner of Edison Avenue Capital, a merger and acquisitions firm based in Florida, will speak at the Native Plant Industry Retreat hosted by Florida Association of Native Nurseries (FANN) and the Native Plant Horticulture Foundation on Friday, December 9th, in Sanibel, Florida. Eric’s program, “Planning for your business’s transition to new ownership,” is kickstarting the retreat’s broader conversation about sustaining Florida’s native plant industry, recruiting, developing and training new growers and business owners, and helping existing native plant business owners plan for the future of their businesses – so vital to Florida’s own sustainability. Edison Avenue Capital has processed $175 million in business transactions and Eric and his partner Edward Valaitis, have over 50 years of experience in building, buying and managing companies. The company specializes in small and mid-market business sales, valuations and consulting, helping business sellers prepare for sales, establish business values, passively and actively market their businesses, screen potential buyers and manage the sales process. Eric has been an active member in the International Business Brokers Association, American Business Brokers Association, Business Brokers of Florida, and Mergers & Acquisitions Source, speaker and contributing author for numerous local, national and international publications. His passions are health, fitness and collecting sports memorabilia. He holds BSE and MBA degrees from the University of Michigan. As far as we know, he’s not yet a fan of native plants, but we hope to make him one in Sanibel.

FANN and the Native Plant Horticulture Foundation invite FANN members, potential members and friends of the native plant industry to join us at the retreat and meet Eric. To RSVP, please contact FANN at 321-271-4885.
