Call for nominations for the 2017 FANN Board of Directors

FANN members will elect the 2017 Board of Directors at their annual meeting on Friday, Dec. 9, 2016 in Sanibel. The association expects to elect three new Directors at Large as well as have a change in officers as President Terry Godts of Green Isle Gardens in Groveland assumes the position of Past President. Nominating Committee Chair Jerry Fritz has announced new board member nominations of Janine Griffiths of Green Thumb in Fort Lauderdale and Mike Sobba of Martin County Farms in Palm City. One additional nominee is needed and in accordance with FANN bylaws, the third director must be employed by a FANN grower or retail nursery member directly engaged in the production of native plants. FANN members who wish to nominate themselves or someone else should contact Jerry Fritz.
