FANN supports Million Pollinator Garden Challenge and encourages you to do the same!

Join the campaign to reach 1 million food and habitat sites for pollinators.
Anyone can help.

The White House is calling for 7 million acres of habitat to be restored or enhanced for pollinators and for Eastern Monarch Butterfly populations to be boosted to protect the migration. How can this be done? In part with your help putting native pollinator plants back in our urban and suburban landscapes.

Use our wholesale suppliers website, FloridaNativeNurseries.org, or our retail outlets website, PlantRealFlorida.org, to search for plants that are pollinator-friendly — just click on the Plants tab and filter by Wildlife Usage = pollinator.

Prepare to be amazed! Our member nurseries offer hundreds of native plants to support our pollinating insects — and in all forms: trees, shrubs, wildflowers, vines and even aquatics.

Why are so many native plants pollinator-friendly? Because our plants and insects have evolved together. Insects have been using and relying on our plants for millenia. And that’s why the term “native plant” is referred to 60 plus times in the National Pollinator Health Strategy.

FANN is pleased to support the National Pollinator Garden Network’s Million Pollinator Garden Challenge. We encourage our 100+ business members to engage as well and encourage their thousands of customers to register their projects as appropriate. Let’s do Florida — and the whole southeastern U.S. — proud and show just how much pollinator power we can put in our landscapes.
