FDACS offers Cogongrass treatment cost share for private landowners

Florida Department of Agriculture will be offering a new cost share program for private landowners seeking treatment of invasive exotic Cogongrass, starting October 15, 2015. The program is funded by a U.S. Forest Service grant and will be offered to non-industrial private landowners throughout the state of Florida. Landowners can receive reimbursement for up to 50% of the total cost of herbicide treatment for two consecutive years, up to a maximum $20,000 total or 133 acres.
