The Native Plant Horticulture Foundation is now offering sponsorships to support student education and travel to the Florida Wildflower Symposium September 22-23, 2017 at UF/IFAS Orange County Extension Center in Orlando, Florida.

College and high school students ages 16+ are urged to apply immediately, as applications will be reviewed and awarded on a first come, first serve basis.

Final deadline for applications is September 8, 2017.

The Native Plant Horticulture Foundation is also a sponsor of the Symposium, a two-day event offering field trips, hands-on workshops and educational programs with experts who grow, plant and conserve Florida native wildflowers.

FANN will be exhibiting at the symposium along with many FANN members. FANN members Beautiful Ponds (Russ Hoffman), The Natives (Nancy Bissett) and Wilcox Nursery & Landscape (Bruce Turley) will be presenting programs. FANN member Andrea England Landscapes is designing a new wildflower garden for demonstration at the center. The Florida Wildflower Symposium is a wonderful opportunity to meet leaders and practitioners in Florida’s native plant movement, learn more about Florida native wildflowers, and have fun with great people and plants. See you there!
